About the Author
SM Somerset loved earning her degree in History but knew she wouldn't be happy pursuing a career in academia. Instead, she embraced her life-long proclivity for using stories to understand the world around her and began weaving her historical studies into her fantasy world of the Winding Clock.
Her forthcoming novel, The Gray Sheep, is the first in the Lochsmith trilogy exploring nationalism, war, family, and building a life you're proud of.
SM Somerset lives in the mountains of the southwestern United States with her wonderful muse of a husband and three mischievous cats. Good satire, the sound of a violin, and an adventure deep into the forest will never fail to put a smile on her face.

SM Somerset never uses generative AI in any of her writing. She hires professionals in their fields to collaborate with her on editing, illustration, cover design, and audio book narration, and will not work with people who use generative AI.
